TCG Price Quiz ("the App") is operated by LuxAero Tech LLC. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data We Collect
When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive:
- Your display name and email address from the OAuth provider
- A unique user identifier (provided by the OAuth service)
- Profile avatar URL (if available)
As you use the App, we also store:
- Gameplay statistics (quiz scores, ELO rating, streaks, accuracy)
- Card collection data (owned cards, pack history, wishlist, favorites, sightings)
- Coin balance and transaction history
- Achievement and badge progress
- Market predictions, portfolio data, and analyst ratings
- Display name, avatar, and preferred currency setting
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide core game functionality (quizzes, collection, leaderboards)
- To track your progress, achievements, and rankings
- To display your profile on public leaderboards (display name and avatar only)
- To improve the App and fix bugs
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services:
- Supabase— database hosting and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
- Vercel— application hosting and deployment.
- PriceCharting— card pricing data used in gameplay. No personal data is shared with PriceCharting.
- Google— OAuth authentication provider. We only receive the profile data Google provides during sign-in.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
The App uses cookies for authentication sessions (managed by Supabase Auth) and browser local storage for UI preferences such as sound/music settings, streamer mode, and currency preference. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. All data is permanently removed immediately, including your collection, coins, achievements, stats, and game history. This action cannot be undone.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
